There was someone else here before me. I can sense their lingering aura and how they used to have convictions and dreams, not unlike mine. A vision that bypasses the limits of continuity rushes through my head. I can see what they saw on their travels. I can see the trauma that they endured and the wars they fought in. I can feel the love they once felt, the joy that beset them, I can feel betrayal and sorrow. I can hear their spirit melody. I am witness to a broken cycle of death and rebirth.
